Membership is open to all Muslims residing in Nova Scotia. Members in good standing enjoy several benefits including the ability to use kitchen and dining hall facilities of masjid, lower burial costs for deceased family members, eligibility to attend and vote in the annual general body meeting/elections, etc. The membership fee also help pay for the various operating expenses of Islamic Association.
-- Mail cheque to the address listed above. -- Place cheque or cash in any of the donation boxes in the Dartmouth masjid. -- Interac email transfer can be sent to: donate@islamnovascotia.ca -- For any other transactions wished to be done in person (cash/debit/credit card), contact a member of the executive committee of Islamic Association. The Islamic Association is a registered charitable organization and tax receipts will be issued for all donations. (NOTE: As the Islamic Association is an organization, it is not eligible to accept any zakat-al-mal)
