Masjid Events

Regular potluck dinners are held at the Dartmouth Masjid first Saturday of every month @ 6.30 pm.

Quran tafseer sessions are held for Brothers and Sisters by Imam Hamzah Mangera and Sister Fatima Sidat respectively, every Friday after isha prayers at 7:45 pm in the Dartmouth masjid.

• Follow Halifax Airport Highway 102 North to Truro
• Take Exit 15E (at the end of Highway 102 at Truro) for Cape Breton (Highway 104 East to New Glasgow)
• After driving about 9 km on 104 East, take exit 17 ramp for Bible Hill
• At first stop sign at the end of the exit ramp, turn right
• Drive up 300 feet, then turn right at the second stop sign on Pictou Road in Bible Hill.
• Drive 0.7 km on Pictou Road in Bible Hill. The Muslim Cemetery gate is on right hand side.
• Truro Masjid is a stand alone white building & is located at the following civic address next the Muslim Cemetery

• Take Exit - 25 off TCH Hwy 104 to New Glasgow.
  
• At traffic lights AFTER the Zellers - past the Aberdeen Mall, turn right at lights to Washington Steet ( i.e 2nd exit on right)
  
• Proceed on Washington & turn right at Brother Street. The Community Center is located at the end of the Street

Alhamdolillah, arrangements have been made for Muslim travelers to offer salat at the Halifax airport. The direction of Ka'aba (qibla) has been marked in the chapel. A prayer mat has been placed as well. The direction of the qibla is the front right hand corner of the room (where there is a window overlooking the atrium).

The chapel is located on the first floor. The elevator to the chapel is across from the food court area. There are also stairs that go up. There is a washroom next to the chapel.
