Pictou County Masjid FundraisingPosted Dec 2, 2018
This is a historic moment for the Muslims in this province. With the grace of Allah, a new masjid is being established in Pictou County under the auspices of Islamic Association of Nova Scotia. This will serve the long standing needs of Muslim community in the New Glasgow, Trenton, Stellarton and Pictou areas.
We need a total of $200,000 to purchase and upgrade a property that has been identified to be used as a masjid.
We are counting on your generosity and that of others. There is some urgency to collect the donations, as the closing is on 20, December 2018. Tax receipts will be issued for all donations. Our hope is to have masajid in all parts of the province. Now when you travel on the highway in Nova Scotia, you will be able to pray in Truro and Trenton (Pictou county)!! There is also a masjid in Sydney, Cape Breton.
This is your chance to buy a house in jannah, Insha’Allah. Please contact me personally if you have any questions.
